Didn't know why i felt kinda upset when I mentioned something that happened like ten years ago, maybe till now I still felt I wasn't in the wrong. But still had caused hurt to someone.

Luckily I was still able to control my emotions. At least I hope I did.

The wind was cold and freezing. But it was nice I never felt that free for a long time already. It is weird but sometimes when things happen I guess they happen for a reason.

Haven got down to doing my accounting yet... was trying very hard to read some of my text in shop but was pretty busy... =( I felt like I am working alone...

It's funny though a customer asked me to go drink coffee with him next time.. ha ha feel a bit complimented someone younger asked me lol

Anyway I have to carry on work till Sunday before I can get off on Monday =(

BYE BYE 2011

haha I don't think it was a bad year but it wasn't the best.. I know I am still trying to stick to my new year resolution which did not succeed year after year... when can I lose the bloody weight

Finally had a great time last night with boyboy.. haha it was fun stupid me thought that Powerhouse had free entry on New Yr Eve.. It was actually meaning free entry for Jan 1 chey... anyway boyboy decided to go ahead and we join the damn long queue =S a lot of kiddos around and boyboy was still hoping the bouncer will ask him for his ID.. luckily I did not laugh out loud.. 18 leh =| how young can we look.. at most 23 right..

Anyway I really had a greaat timeee.. the music was not too bad.. crowd was pretty good.. except for a few drunk ladies who were pratically trying to create a hole in the floor by dancing so hard.. yeah if you know what I mean.. and there were pretty boys mostly.. X_X

Anyway the countdown was pretty cool and balloons dropped again like the other time when we was with Kimberly and KaiLun and my sis...

We then strayed off outside to eat yummy food.. ok ok it wasnt fantastic chicken wings.. but the atmosphere was great except for the chinese lady singing weird chinese birthday songs.. I enjoyed the cool breeze and the dressy people around us... some were even drinking red wine so high class.. haha but commoners like us drink nice longan drink LOL

Nice I like the alfresco idea.. its nice except I don't like the barbeque smell lingering in clothes so I sat far far away from the BBQ stores

We went back in afterwards and while queuing for re entry a guy gave us free drink coupons.. yay so lucky.. so both of us had an extra glass.. which was pretty much enough cos we did not want to get too drunk anyway.. With the good music I guess there's no need for booze to dance >.<

They even played song from Girls Generation .. the Boys haha =D

After dancing like pretty much non stop till three plus we left... and outside we see a few people lying on the ground.. geeshh slapping won't wake the drunkard on the floor though lol...

China is really fantastic. Fantastic in poisoning people.

Have you read abt the latest news.. Now they are using rotten grains to make rice noodles by adding carcinogenic additives .. huge amts of sulphur dioxide.. maybe that's why so many people are getting cancer these days.

A huge part of the food imports come from China and seriously we don't even know what they add to the food.. and sometimes even through strict regulations , it's just a bit too late yah.. like the rabbit sweets and the toys =/

Didn't do much today forced ZW out of the house to prevent ourselves from collecting dust at home.. went to Orchard.. and apparently I WAS BEING BLAMED when using his iphone in the car.. -___- dunno how by not using his iphone would have help in preventing something that I don't want to mention again in case he starts to drown me in his continuation of maybe and what if ....

We went to the EwF Outlet located at the first floor in Orchard Central and in case u dunno what EwF means it means Everything With Fries. Not too bad the Menu was pretty normal but they had this meal set going for $9.90 nett. The meal was pretty decent and filling

The drink was pretty small in size though. If you buy it seperately it's $2.50. Looks tiny and being such a camel. I think I can finish the whole cup in a few slurps.

This is the battered fish sandwich and sour cream and onion fries.

The sandwich wasn't that bad.. the fries were ok not exactly the best... Long John fries were a tad nicer.. ha ha but the sour cream powder for the fries were good I must say =D

Ok since we were in Orchard Central I thought I Pop by the COzyCot store located at #02-24, since they were having a 70% off.. but I really didn't see anything fantastic =/

And you know right.. don't tell me you haven't tried Gong Cha.. outside PLaza Singapura.. I still find it really bad despite so many tries of the drink.. and of course we went back to Dorabee to satisfy our cravings for bubble milk tea.. one thing about Dorabee.. the pearls are a bit gooey and not as Q as those at Gong Cha but the tea they make taste way better anyway lol and since I don't really mind the pearls.. they are of too high in caloric content anyway so I try not to eat too much of it. By the way you can choose the sugar level.

Ah this is nice.. Matcha Milk bubble tea $2.90. Not that expensive considering it tasted a bit like Starbucks Green tea latte as ZW mentioned.

Hmm.. my friend gave birth to a New Yr baby.. wow she got herself a nice New yr present this yr =) The baby looks pretty from the pictures she uploaded in facebook. heh heh nice means she can still enjoy her chinese new yr goodies when CNY starts.

and if really u r running out of excuses to be late... maybe u can try this..

Went to East coast Park with ZW on 30/12/10. very cool weather =D seems like it was going to rain but it didnt..

There is this new sports lagoon where people could do water sports.. some kind of water surfing..

the water had a weird smell though =\

It was really expensive I think it was abt 35 per hr on weekdays.. weekends abt 40 plus X_X

We were suppose to cycle =X But I was afraid of Killing pple while we were on the bicycle.. so I suggested to ZW we walk instead. and yup he became very naggy and unhappy. =X

I took a few nice pictures of the beach =D

It was really kinda quiet day.. very suitable for strolling ard the beach... saw a lady with two dogs.. haha reminds me of SX's Summer, her pet dog. very cute dogs =D

We went past a skating rink... or maybe I should say Stunt area because many kids were trying out dangerous stunts with their skateboards, bicycles and rollerblades... my knees turn soft looking at them do the dangerous stunts... didn't want to take photos in case u havent heard.. teens nowdays r very rowdy... gang clash any moment ha.

And then we decided to go EAT again..

Met ZW at abt 530pm.. reach sentosa abt 630pm.. finding the 987fm gal was hhard... luckily I gave her a call on the mobile.. apparently she was sitting at an inconspicuous spot at Coffee bean.. we headed over and got the tickets I won from 987fm.

Then we went ahead inside...

There was this big board where you could write down yr new year resolutions

The party map had 5 locations where you could party

.. the main arena ( stuck here mostly lol)... cafe Del mar.. Azure... Wavehouse.. and Coastes

There were even booths where you could have yr palm readings

and the surprise from 987...

The 987fm dee jays put on a great show.. they were dancing to the Nobody song and I thought Young was pretty cool the way he came out the last few mins to rap =D Dunno why Justin lifted Vernon's A skirt =/ a bit unglam seeing his white underwear

We then took a walk ard... still many booths of food and drinks ard

and some club was trying to lure customers into buying magarita by dancing along with the music..

people went crazy at the foam party.. lol

We bought a hotdog... and margarita... yup they successfully conned ZW into buying a cup of it.. and it was so so sweet too sweet for my liking perhaps.. made me felt even thrister afterwards

haha Took a photo at this carlsberg bottle look alike machine... =D while my devil horns were still in one piece lol.. We went to the wave house... there was this brave ang moh trying out the surf a zillion times..

there was a cool hammock I noticed beside me and suddenly I felt like napping on it hope I have the chance to try it out next time =D

Then we walked towards wavehouse restaurant.. people were having a great time eating and drinking =) Afterwards we went back to the party area to chill out

We caught weird creatures walking ard... One dress up like a mega Hotdog...One alien space looking legs.. and another which looked like a white ghost trapped in cage haha

Then there was this crazy ang mo who got very high with all the dancing he climbed up to the top of the rock and danced.. made me laugh like crazy... I find it so funny I really could not stop laughing for quite a while..

then we danced to the great music and lot of funny people ard us dancing.. there were ang mohs in bikinis and the banglas rush forward to take pictures with them.

Someone was so thirsty bought 1.5 litre of beer.

omg... and ended up we have to go queue in toilet a few times.. there was this free limited edition Vuvuzela which I ended up dumping.. it didnt seem to work.. or maybe we were too weak no sound came out when we try blowing into it.

very soon after dancing like mad and trying to avoid the banglas whenever they came close by.. the count down started.. and afterwards the fireworks were amazing..

wish they could lasted a little longer though.. 3.5 mins *.*

So we carry on dancing to the futuristic trance mixed with hip hop and pop =S before deciding to spent another 6 bucks on some 2 scoops of hokkaido ice cream took green tea and mint.. but the hot weather had already made the ice cream way too soft, like it was about to melt any moment =|

and very worth it deal.. $6 for 3 chicken wings.. by the way u have to pay $30 coupons to buy any food and drinks there..

and we carried on dancing.. and I hi-fi a stranger, smiled at some ang mo hunk wearing sunglass. YAH SUNGLASS IN THE DARK lol..

it pretty much ended with me and ZW feeling tired from all the dancing and retreating to get our stuff...

Along the way out abt 2 plus am... saw the 987 djs.. lol guess they partied enough like us too and were leaving

By the way the bag counter was a total mess.. six bucks to put the bags .. not even proper lockers.. and guess the staff cannot find the bags mostly.. and took a long time searching them on the metal shelves.. -_- if anything was lost I think i will scream at them

had to walk a long and dark way out to the casino where we waitied AGAIN for like 25 mins to get a cab....

I think the party was too happening.. my pretty pink horns broken into half =(

IT"S NEW YR EVE

SO what are your plans today? =D for me I will be heading down to Sentosa silioso beach countdown because I am soo soo lucky haha I won 2 tickets from 98.7fm on the Longest Lunch Break from Sarah ^^

Anyway Have been feasting a lot lately. Thinked I gained a whooping 3kg or so =( I am suppose to slim down before the countdown ended up gaining weight instead lol.

Anyway I went to meet RL and SX

on 23/12/10 had quite a good time.. we enjoyed ourselves at Somerset 313 the Handburger... =D

So tired...

Attended my pri sch friend's wedding.. not bad the food was pretty good.. was surprised the braised pork could taste tat yummy.. haha and they had fried prawn rolls.. =D The mango sago for desert was very smooth and not overly sweet as well =)

My friend looks so hot in the red wedding dress hee hee... we took a few pictures with her and I realised my face so round again.. omg =( it's hard to slim down with so many nice food tempting me always.. and ZW always bring me go eat and eat and eat...

We caught Narnia ... the latest episode @CCK.. was so so... just find the lion seems good to cuddle very very soft fur haha... we ate at the pontian noodles again.. the poh piah didn't taste as great previously most probably cause the fillings was too soggy =S.. though the prawn mee my bf had.. the soup was very good.. =D

It's a long week ahead.. got to work till Saturday before I can finally rest on Sunday but it's going to be worth it cos I can stay work free from 19th onwards till January 2 haha.... Think this is the last yr I can manage to get off and annual leave placed together like this...

Thinking abt lot of things lately... had a lot of fun lately too.. went RSVP@ BUtter on 27 November with ZW and PAt... haha I won the tickets from SHan and ROss show on 987FM.. it was kinda cool =) free flow for 2 hours.. but course we didn't intoxicate ourselves that badly.. alcohol is fattening.. lol but nevertheless.. I had a great time.. think it's a great belated bday celebration heh heh...

Been listening to 987fm a lot recently in hoping to win tickets to 21 presents.. but its so hard the line cant get through .. sms not picked....

TOok a cab with friends after the wedding today.. the taxi driver uncle gave lot of insight lol.. he said exercising was no point if we keep on feeding our body with all the chemically produced foods.. and we should always stay happy... that's like the one main thing that really keep us in good health.. which I agree is kinda true =)

omg..

Haha I think I have to start dieting again =/ after the mid autumn festival I think I gained another 2kg lol... all the yummy mooncakes... even though I tried to resist eating them but still could not resist temptation of the yummy calorie laden mooncakes and gave in..

had some new found facts... to me I mean haha I didnt know most baked mooncakes were made from lard... 0.0 ewww so oily haha and you know right one mooncake has about 800 calories with egg yolk even more...

I think I have to stop munching on bread at night..they add to my even bigger stomach..

I know have to cut down on sugar consumption and salt as well.. but I like to drink coffee in the morning and at night =( How am i going to stop this.....

My poor sis is not yet back... she took the wrong bus 169 and ended up somewhere between admiralty and woodlands... hope she can get back soon

Didn't go much place today went Lot one to have dinner with voidy .. we had KFC.. so oily... I had an OR fillet burger and he had zinger.. and OR is actually just a smaller version of zinger with some special sauce.... the Portugese Eggtart I had wasn't that wonderful... only ate half of it 0.0 don't think I will ever eat it again haha... wasn't good as those kind of portugese egg tarts I bought from other places before ..

Feel kinda tired these few days.. Hopefully isn't any sign of illness or anything .. Feel sleepy even after sleeping so much, Must be bcos I never go exercise... =( I think I have to get a new hobby if not keep thinking abt food..

I think recently because we have to type a lot of email in job my typing seems to have gotten pretty quick.. or is it because of chatting on msn. not very sure also .. Anyway I dont have to formally learn how to type fast which is kinda cool anyway

I know my blog is so dead. Don't think anyone ever reads it anymore too.. which is perfect because I don't need anyone reading through it and putting up stupid comments because a blog is suppose to be something where you wrtie your feelings right?

I suddenly feel like I no longer have anymore friends ever since I started my stupid work which restrict me meeting my friends on weekends and after work hours on weekdays like 7pm.. I am becoming like a hermit .. wake up at 8am get ready go to work at 10am.. work till 930pm go home reach home about 10pm.. watch tv then go back sleep and every day I am repeating the same monotonous life until my offday arrives which is slightly better because I get to wake up later and sleep late the night before...

My bf wants to buy a car regardless of how pricey the COE is and even though I already nagged at him for about a week.. he doesn't care and is still going on ahead to buy the car... ok guess that means we aren't getting married. oh well.. =( five years and a car don't really know what to say..

DOn't think I will have want to have kids anymore because I think its just too costly to have a baby in Singapore.. everything is getting so expensive
.. even the houses too.. ten yrs ago they were like half the price.. they doubled up so quickly.. I don't think I have the money even to buy a Hdb...

HOw can the government keep encouraging young people to get married when they are not even financially stable?? No wonder everyone is marrying someone like 10 or 12 years older than them... because that is only when the lady is still young no worries about pregnancy difficulties and the guy has already accumulated ehough cash and cpf to buy house and have a wedding dinner...

At this rate =( I think I may not even have a wedding dinner =(

Why is being a grown up so tiring... I just want to get back to eating ice cream cones when I was a kindergarten kid and enjoying my carefree life then... There are so many worries being an adult, I really hate it...

Went to party world with bf yesterday. Yes we are horrible singers lol so we sat there for about three hours singing and laughing.. It was pretty fun.. Each of us were entitled to two drinks and i like the fruit platter :D

Afterwards we went to the arcade.. Yes the arcade we are like old ppl there lol but i enjoyed playing blazblue but i got trashed by another guy.. My fighting skills suck..

Taiwan man dies after watching 'Avatar'

TAIPEI (AFP) - – A 42-year-old Taiwanese man with a history of high blood pressure has died of a stroke likely triggered by over-excitement from watching the blockbuster "Avatar" in 3D, a doctor said Tuesday.

The man, identified only by his surname Kuo, started to feel unwell during the screening earlier this month in the northern city of Hsinchu and was taken to hospital.

Kuo, who suffered from hypertension, was unconscious when he arrived at the Nan Men General Hospital and a scan showed that his brain was haemorrhaging, emergency room doctor Peng Chin-chih said.

"It's likely that the over-excitement from watching the movie triggered his symptoms," he told AFP.

Kuo died 11 days later from the brain haemorrhage, and the China Times newspaper said it was the first death linked to watching James Cameron's science-fiction epic "Avatar".

Film blogging sites have reported complaints of headaches, dizziness, nausea and blurry eyesight from viewers of "Avatar" and other movies rich in 3D imagery.

On hindside I started 2010 with a blast... really and I meant a Blast... because I was counting down 2010 with many other folks... lol at Marina Bay....Me and the bf were so close to the stage heh heh =X...

boom boom.... fireworks XD

I think it was the most worthwhile 66 bucks we spent for a countdown event for so many years...

1) I saw Gurmit , Michelle (2 of them) and Adrian Pang so upclose and Michelle CHong smiled at meeee.. =D they were hosting the show just like less than a metre away infront of us... we were the background lol

2) There was this crazy guy in white shirt making us laugh like crazy because he was so hyped up to go on tv he started to make funny faces and waved madly in empty spots behind the celebrities...

3) Fireworks.. on the spot real time =D only thing was we were not able to leave the moss pit area ( spot next to the stage ) when they were fired out

4) Very good songs =D

5) good songs for u to dance after the fireworks.. XD

The whiskey sprite was a bit heavy I think just after a glass I didn't feel very good... lol too bad I still had to work on New Yr's Day.. Might have stayed longer.. heh heh... left at abt one plus =D

glad to know we are getting older and cannot party that much anymore.... n that we were not at some stupid countdown siloso party.. where a "she" was being "molested" < the words are in brackets because many were not sure of the status of the word> by indians.. yucks... that just leaves the rest of the gers who saw the incident feeling terrified n disgusted by no longer living in the safe Singapore...

If you haven got a clue what I am talking about you could probably go stomp and read up on it....

the rest of the celebs on stage... like Singapore Final Idols finalists... Da Mouth... Michelle Chia with Dai Yang Tian... =/ if i could met him off stage would have took a photo with him =(

There should be like a million things to blog before posting this up...

but.. i happen to came across a book which my friend brought to work... a book from NCC... read it and was pretty awed by what it was saying until I look up from the internet....

Hmmm.. CHC the first and NCC the second... sorry to say this... but sometimes even though sometimes I feel like there is god and we should believe in him... it's really sad how so many people out there are using his name just to earn money...

$50k a mth... come on.. do you really need so much money just to be a pastor?? and they actually raise like 19 million to built a new church??!!

If NCC can come up with this type of sum... lol i seriously dunno what Kong is earning in CHC.. prob more than our Lee?? whoops.. pls sensor that I dun think anyone is allowed to earn more than him in Singapore...

and I feel kinda sad for believers of god to fall into these kind of places... but then again they probably see how these places could profit them and went in....

by the way NCC advocates Jesus died for all yr sins even yr future sins so you dun have to feel guilty about anything at all... and u wun sin because you feel righteous??!

and well all the sickness and pain is brought by satan.. I really cannot comprehend some of this very chim stuff right now.. but what I know is Joseph Prince makes it sound so good I believe everyone feels like joining... after all u can live a guilt free and righteous life....

yikes.. u can still join a church like this that advocates this kind of teaching? I guess everyone has their own stand... it is no doubt Humans are selfish...

Halloween is bad.. everywhere was packed and we could not get in anywhere... =( and my leg is bruising up due to being kiap by kailun's car door =((

It's bruising.. so ugly now it keeps making me feel sad... and have to rub the stupid ointment on it which is sticky... meaning when i go sleep at night I have to sleep trying not to move around too much if not it gets all over my bed...

Taipei Part 2

SUddenly cannot sleep in middle of the night abt 5am >.< got a weird feeling and cannot go back to sleep.. hearing weird sounds... tried to wake my bf up but he sleeping soundly and didn't dare tell him I heard something.. tried very hard to go back sleep............. x__X

Woke up and we went for breakfast.. was pretty good actually..

there were scrambled eggs.. u could have toasted wholemeal bread.... butter buns..

what I ate..

crossiants.. rice.. congee... miso soup... some of the food I didn't try some meat... some pi dan... bacon, sausages... corn cakes... salad... fruits.. I think the fruit I liked most was the honey dew that was really different.. it was much softer and sweeter =D looks like some kind of vegetable .. but tasted really good... I like the youghurt too..

Afterwhich we proceeded to take a cab to the railway station...

we taking train.. high speed rail from Taipei to TaiChung...

Basically slept on the journey throughout took us about 50 mins to reach there...

some taxi driver tried to con us money into going to the location we wanted by paying abt 1800NT..

wth.. it's like reaching 90 bucks just for cab ride... he must be freaking out of his mind... when we mentioned we didn't want to go to the location anymore... he still forced us took a cab ride to the normal railway station.. dots..

and after we reached there he didn't want to let us go >.< pester us saying there was no more bus ride to the place we were going and tried to convince us his way was cheaper... it was like as if we were some big lobster and he refused to let us go.. zzzz

finally we manage to escape the driver's hands by making some lame excuse we were not planning to go anywhere le and faster escape to the nearest shops around... walk about quite a bit .. bought some bubble tea again.. YES!

=D and then we proceed to go to TaiCHung Park.. haha took quite a few photos there..

AFterwhich we went to the Science MUseum or something... pretty cool.. and was way too big... my legs didn't break from all that walking amazing.... X__X

So we ended up watching some taiwan talk show while getting our feet massaged X__x a bit pain.. haha thought my leg was pretty numbed from all the massage... it was pretty worth it.. about 21 sing dollars for an hr's massage.. something you cannot get in Singapore.. and his skill is good too...

Then we took a cab to Feng Xia NIght MArket..

wooo =D food and food again haha... didn't really shopped alot this time.. bought some thing call the 大肠包小肠 basically its like a sausage being wrapped in a rice moulded like sausage.. didn't really like pork so it was just so so to me.. my bf ate all of it up though...

We also ate some fried pumpkin balls..

pretty nice.. reminded me of our Singapore's fried butterfly... heh heh

Then soon we took a cab back... pass by some shop to buy 太阳饼。。 afterwards we proceed back to the railway station to take train back to Taipei =D

yay I can rest my feet after one whole day of walking hee hee.....

The Third Day..

>.< We must be pretty tired from all the walking because we woke up quite late.. went below for breakfast before we proceed to Danshui.. yeap =D finally

Took a bus 26 straight to Fisherman's Wharf.. heh heh and took photos along Lover's bridge...

finally the bridge Jeremy has been talking about and I finally went there =D

Then we walk ard quite a bit took photos for some tourists?? and they helped us take a picture too....

We then took a boat back to Danshui...

where we shopped for local goodies... yay haha eat again...

and besides pretty bartenders and free flow of whatever drinks u want to order.. there was also some dance performance where the gers were taking off their clothes
leaving their bikinis on them... I THOUGHT SO... until I notice a lady taking off her bikini .. but of course she still manage to cover her Ahem... I was like freaked out.. live stripping show... I think that was enough for the night and I made my way out of the club.. geesh no wonder the whole club was so filled up with young adolescents.... >><<

wow amazingly I didn't killed my bf... though his innocent.. "I really didn't know they will do that".. " it's just performance" didn't really curb my anger at the moment.. I manage to calm down eventually.. =/ if not there would have been headlines... " Singapore girl kills bf while on trip in Taipei"

anyway next morning... we had our usual breakfast below.. before checking out and we went to xi men ding for food.. the steamboat buffet we went to was a bit disappointing ... but ok.. 268 was like 15 bucks and less for each person not too bad.... standards dropped after a place becomes too popular... I thought so too

and after buying my yellow wedge and some mee my colleague asked me to buy we went back to the hotel where the cab driver was waiting for us.... and then slept on the way till we reached airport hur hur sleepy..

BACK TO SINGAPORE =(

Taipei Part 1:

WOoo Hooo =D I am in Taipei right now keying in from my bf's laptop =D
It's only like 6.37am on the third day yupp... even though they mention heavy showers and earthquake at taiwan... on the news just 2 days or so before I went there.. the weather has been pretty good since we arrived.. =D It wasn't raining when we arrive at TaoYuan airport and we only experience slight drizzle on the first night ^^

We took the morning flight about 8 plus on Tuesday... SQ flight =p I am so sua ku if not for bf's persuasion to take Singapore AIrlines... I wouldn even have go somewhere by SQ before haha..

The seats were pretty comfy though its economy class only and I guess it was definitely better than the Tiger airways and Silkair.. more spacious?? =D They serve us morning snack of peanuts.. and I grab a copy of Straits and CLeo mag before we sit down at the window seat heh heh

The breakfast was pretty good too I had cheese omlette with ham

while bf had nasi lemak..

and their desert was yummy...

it's like vanilla ice cream encased in cute little chocolate holders..

Like I watched Hangover while we travelled there .. the show is pretty lame but ok it's suppose to be a comedy lol... but it's really a bit out of yr mind things they will do in the show...

We reached Taipei abt 1.18pm or so and we waited quite a while before we could get our lauggage on the courier belt... afterwards which we somehow didn't spot the driver that was supposed to pick us up... =( and like after 10 mins bf found him. YAY ^^

and we took his comfy car ride back to the hotel took about 40 mins or so???
The hotel is really cool looking all white heh heh..and the driver told us it's a relatively new hotel... about 2 or 3 yrs only..

we went up unpacked.. and decided to take the MRT to Xin Beitou where we can go for hot spring soaking haha...

the taxi driver didnt manage to bring us to the correct spot after we reach the mrt... but luckily where he dropped us off was very close to Spring City Resort....

2 pple abt 1200NT/hr in private room.. not so bad abt S$50+..

then after soaking for quite a while we went outside drink the nice tea and wait for the shuttle bus to transport us back to the mrt... which afterwards we went SHiLin Night Market

Yeah.. first thing we did when we arrive there was to eat the Fried CHicken..

it's so yummy as compared to the one in SIngapore.. and the skin is so much more crispy and saltier yum yum.. haha then we walked around the Night Market.. bought Bubble tea =D~ some egg snack in cute shapes like gun.. chicken...

bought slipper and a yellow top... and some gifts...

By the time we shopped finished my legs were breaking =( lol had a very long walk back to the hotel after we took mrt to the nearest Mrt.. and when we reached hotel lobby they were fliming some kind of show there...

Spent the remaining night watching tv... =D so cool there were like over 70 channels to choose from.. spoilt for choice X__x

Anyway Lot of events been happening past few months... since the last time I blogged was ard May..

September

Been back from the F1 concert on the 24/09 =p
I was really lucky won tickets to see A Mei and Jacky Cheung just by being a fan of InSing.Com on facebook =D Went to collect the tickets with my sis on the 24th aftr going to Singapore Poly for a talk on Optix Multifocal lens.... they had a small buffet ready for us too ^^

We reached the office at ard 11 plus 0.0 wow its really isolated in Duxton Hill but to work there seems like a nice ambience... nice rock pavements with beautiful trees and small pubs ard that area.. they must be really enjoying the atmosphere of their work there.

Went to CHinatown with my sis afterwards where I treat her to Mac meal... it's super worth it deal cos from 12pm to 3pm... mac meals cost only $4.50 =p I had nuggets while she ate the double cheese burger which bring us fond memories when we were young =D hee hee

Caught Irene while we were shopping for some necessities so coincidence =D

Then we went to Raffles area where my sis wanted to check out the exchange rate for Thai Baht.. yesh she is going on a holiday with her friend bangkok =D~ silly us waited at the bustop outside FUllerton till a police came and inform us there was no bus from the 24th to 29th LOL.. roads were closed for the F1 night race X__x

Took Mrt back and just changed to get ready to meet bf to go for concert =D

LOL we took Mrt to Doby Ghaut and Not Harbour Front!!! No No Fort Canning Hill isn't near Mount Faber =X and we ate at Han's Cafe at Park Mall.. The Cheap Chicken sandwich with wholemeal bread was quite satisfying actually and the Ying Yang I ordered was good too.. bf Had set meal of black Pepper chicken with carrot soup with Iced lemon tea

and we hurried off to the main stage at the Fort Canning hill....

So many people busy taking photos.... =p and we took some too...

unfortunately i forget to adjust the settings of my camera.. so I only manage to take a few pictures =( but its good enough had a lot of fun singing along with songs that I sorta knew and waving my hands in the air when the stars appear...

First up was Da Mouth

apparently the only member i knew was Aisha the rest were not that bad.. the guy in Purple doing the DJ music was very cool too and bf mentioned the guy in white looked like the Korea Guy in the movie..

Then later came SOda Green ..

very unique group.. not really sure to put my personal comments here cos I dun want end up getting killed by their fans =X but it was okay as well....
Sadly halfway the mike had some problems -_-.. and they had to stop a while..

Afterwards A mei came and her aboriginal name is Amit 阿蜜特.. ooo
I didnt knew this until the 933 DJ said so haha

Bad mike and on some part of her song her voice kinda disappeared =( luckily they managed to fix the mike....

and the last part waiting for JAcky CHeung was really long =( They had some problems wit the stage lights and we waited like half a hour before he came on stage.. apparently they haven fix the lights yet but Jacky CHeung couldn't wait anymore he didnt want to let us go on waiting =D He looks like a Sir stamford Raffles with the costumes and long hair but his humour lighten up the long wait... =D

And later he had encore with A mei

and the rest of the performers went up on stage to sing Michael Jackson's Heal the WOrld...

had a lot of fun.. but bf had crampy legs from standing too long.. and by the way... a plastic cup of tiger cost 8 bucks and a bottle of coke light cost 5 bucks... have u fainted yet.. lol

On the previous SUnday met up with Irene, pei li and Yuxin for a short meal at The Taiwanese Cafe opened by XIn Wang... the food was pretty ok except for my Oreo peppermint drink which I stll drink finish -__- too sweet.... the fried tofu, chicken with curry and toast was still pretty okay...

ate the cake which Irene and I bought for the two gers as a belated bday celebration and the meal was on us.. =D

Afterwards caught the movie Time Traveller's Wife... was ok but still I thought the Ugly Truth was better... Maybe its a different genre altogether and I shouldnt compare it like that...

Ealier during the month had gone clubbing with bf Pat and Zhenrong and his gf.. Nisa too... dblo had very good service had fun dancing and we went to dblo bar on the first floor as well.. had a fun time and bf bought too many drinks =( cos I felt giddy by the time we finish...

Zhenrong asked us to go Butter factory the following week.. very nice place pretty view of the river. and nice bf brought me to Coffeebean to eat CArrot cake and drank some tea cos I haven had dinner after work =X

and before that??? ....

I guess I was working and working and working....

LOL dad got really lucky and won a Hamper after he bought some pills from the pharmacy =D

Hiak Hiak Hiak.... Currently on a three day break from work =X
Ends Friday but oh well I did have a lot of fun already =p

Tuesday was the Dinner and Dance my colleagues were looking forward to.. We were so excited over the event we even pulled down the shutters at 4.40pm to go upstairs for some last minute shopping =X and before that I was buying earrings and bangles HAHA soo excited =D

SH bought a clutch but she didn't bring it to the Dinner and dance in the end..
We had to rush home after closing the shop at 5pm... so rush... my sis helped me applied eyeliner and mascara which I never applied before =X haha yah I never apply it before my wholeeee life haha...

Then I settled the rest of the make up myself.... after which I rushed to the saloon where I met SF.. she was being dolled up by the beautician over there while the china guy helped me did my temporary curls.. haha I quite liked them =D

SF regretted letting the lady dolled her up... lol she complaint the make up was too cheena.. making her look even more like a china lady....

X___x we were kinda the few last to reach York Hotel... Sky was.. dunno maybe waiting for his dad???? finally he came to pick us up haha.. actually if we share cab we wouldn't have be that late... dots...

but it was ok.. when we reached there... we seat at table 6.. with the Clementi outlet staff and Queensway..

And I was busy taking photos.. didn't manage to see until Jovina.. towards the end we were busy running away from J who was apparently a bit drunk and started to say weird things and we were scared he will mao shou mao jiao we all run very fast haha..

Manage to take pictures with my china colleague as well.. she's a tall pretty babe heh heh..

Afterwards.... Sky was dying from gastric pains.. so me and seen hui and him went to eat at Bukit Timah along the stretch of food stalls..

They chose Teochew porridge house where Edward and me eat like few yrs back then..
I didn't eat.. wasn't hungry and had some drink...

and guess what .. a fight almost broke out and this chinese guy had chilli being poured all over him by some black who keep threatening that he is going to kill him.. lucky for us... they didn't really fight... if not.. maybe SH would have fainted...

Next day... was happy to meet up with Irene and PeiLi haha so sorry gals.. was a bit late... lucky two of them didn't faint under the hot sun.. we went to minds cafe.. to play board games.. and I thought it was a good deal.. from 2 to 6pm only $5 before gst and service charge...for games and free flow of drinks and its meals were like 6 bucks during these happy hours...

at least this time the game was explained by a cuter guy and he introduced us quite a number of games like... slamwich.. and and.. some hot air balloon game where our hot air balloon keep crashing and some game where we had to race by building our own paths..

then we went Central where we meet up with Weifen for dinner...
the oily chicken soup Ramen at Matsuma or something like that...

it was ok.. reminded me a bit of like maggie mee.. but really the pork slice was cooked very nicely... the meat portion is really quite tasty... but like Irene said only one slice of pork and so much spring onion with some veggie.. not very cheap.. considering nothing else inside..

Afterwards we were comtemplating to go Double O to get free drinks but it was way too early so we went Ya Kun for coffee and drinks instead.. we sat there almost an hour plus chatting.. haha =)

And yesterday I met up with bf... we went to Jurong point and caught the Giraffee I had been eyeing for some time already =X

A bit expensive =( we spent like thirty plus on it..

and then out of pure luck I managed to catch this furry pooh with one buck wahahaha

we had dinner at Long John Silver.. and trust me you wouldn't want to try the fish grilled set.. that's my first time and last time eating that haha -___-

I should just become an art teacher lor... i think I am like 50% extrovert and 50% introvert. Luckily my grandma is feeling much better le visited her at SGH yesterday and today she went back home already 0.0 The doctors advised her to go home and not to stay at hospital anymore if she is feeling better... well cos of the swine flu... guess they rather make the hospital as vacant as possible..

February 26, 1995, Barings, the oldest bank in Britain, announced it was seeking bankruptcy protection after losing nearly one billion dollars in a stock gamble. At the time Barings went under, the bank held assets for Queen Elizabeth, some $100 million according to Time magazine.

In late 1994, the chief trader at Baring's Singapore office began betting big on Japan's Nikkei market. Then disaster struck. An earthquake hit Kobe, Japan, and on January 23, 1995, the Nikkei plunged more than 1000 points.

Barings Bank lost big money. But instead of cutting his losses, Baring's Singapore trader doubled his investment, apparently hoping that the Nikkei would rebound. It didn't. As the Nikkei continued to plummet, Baring's London office put up nearly $900 million to support its failing position on the Singapore investments. Finally, they ran out of capital and declared bankruptcy.

How could one 28 year old trader in Singapore lose nearly a billion dollars and ruin a 233-year old British bank? According to Time, the problem was lack of supervision.

London allowed the [Singapore Trader] to take control of both the trading desk adn the backroom settlement operation in Singapore. It is a mix that can be - and in this case was - toxic...For a trader to keep his own books is like a schoolboy getting to grade his own tests; the temptation to cheat can be overwhelming, particularly if the stakes are high enough.

Jamie Yeo and Glenn Ong have split

STOMP star blogger Jamie Yeo, 32, and her husband, radio deejay Glenn Ong, 38, have announced that they are getting a divorce.

Glenn, who hosts a morning radio programme on Class 95, had announced on-air this morning that he and Jamie "were no longer together".

According to The Straits Times, there had been rumours for the past few weeks that their marriage was on the rocks and they were spotted at a recent event arriving and sitting separately.

A spokesman for MediaCorp Radio says: 'Glenn Ong and Jamie Yeo have officially filed for separation and have been living apart for a while. Their marriage broke down simply due to the couple having grown apart in recent years because of their careers and individual differences.

'The decision was a mutual one and thus the parting was amicable. They remain good friends, are still talking and continue to have the utmost respect for each other. This is naturally a difficult time for the couple and they have requested to be left alone unequivocally.'

But in a recent entry dated Jan 29 on her personal blog, Jamie, who is also an ESPN sports presenter, wrote: 'I was glad to be done with 2008 honestly. The year was great work-wise but not so on a personal level. I'm only finally admitting this because the year's done and dusted, and I know 2009 will be liberating, to say the least.'

The couple have no children, but they own a dog, a Jack Russell terrier named Fudgie.

Second divorce

This will be the second divorce for Glenn, who married Kate Reyes, a deejay from the same station in 2000. They divorced in 2003.

Jamie was widely-rumoured to be the cause of the split, which she has denied. According to a report in Wanbao, the couple first started dating in 2001.

After Glenn's divorce, he and Jamie were married in Dec 2004 at the New Creation Church.

On Sunday went to Jurong Point again haha... this time I think Shaun CHen wasn't in his shop anymore =( sadd...

Anyway bf finally built up enough courage to cut his hair at Storm...its by Monsoon haha... while he cut his hair I went ard buying a ring and earrings haha till this day haven wear the earrings yet >.<

After admiring his haircut we went to eat at some cafe I cannot recall the name.. but it was a jap cafe.. like Bente Cafe or something...

I ordered mushroom soup with fried chicken wings yummy.... and bf had terriyaki chicken noodles....

Then went to sit and chat a while with my sis at Coffee Bean....

Had dinner at Toast.. where I had half boiled eggs with teh c and po lo bao and dear had his laksa.. which I guess serving was too small cos he was eyeing hungrily at my po lo bao which I gave him half lol..

Dear decided we should go St James instead... and after getting our tickets.. we went back vivo where we played a few games at the arcade....

When it was ten plus we went back to ST james...Boiler room... haha the gay guy is there telling dirty jokes again.... bf manage to saw his colleague... I saw no one.. =S lol...

Then we went to power house to drink some more and play cai quan haha.. was quite fun so was the music pretty good...

Then we went back to Boiler at abt eleven plus for the countdown... ahha and there were games after the new yr countdown...

and we kinda danced a while.. before I decided we should leave before getting trampled on.. haha it was so hard to get out of the place... I had to practically pushed my way out zzzz....

and on New yr day.... too exhausted to move haha.... met my dear for a quick dinner at cck though... Finally had chance to try out the Matcha ice cream.. at MOF... haha not bad.... bf's sesame ice cream was okay too.. but ten bucks for 2 scoops of ice cream also pretty expensive $_$

then... was back to work le....

WOw.. haha so tired... Guess this yr christmas was more special than usual because my good friend of like 12 years got married.. =)

On Eve itself was busy wrapping presents still!!! haha

After wrapping the presents headed down to Bpp to pass the gifts while my poor bf kinda sick I think from the weather came Bpp find me.. when we finally arrive at Jurong Point my shoes were killing my feet and so he bought open toe heels for me =D thanks bf

and afterwards we went to Billy Bomber's where we supposedly thought there was a 20% off for their christmas set using citibank card.. diaoz kena cheated... when we foot bill.. the waitress actually mention it was for the special surf and turf meal which I never even saw mentioned on the menu!!! ..

Afterwards it was still raining duhz... but we took cab down to Zouk before that bought a gift from kiddy Palace for my sis hee hee Hope she likes it.. bf help me make a choice saying PB was cuter =p

Zouk is terrible lol... the queue for Phuture is soo long it almost reach the bridge at the back and further more was kinda drizziling

Surprisingly we got in like in about 25 mins lol....No chopping in line at queue haha and here is our invincible chops lol..

and we danced for quite sometime before heading back abt one plus....
bf was hungry and we stopped by the 24 hr coffee shop to had soup... and noodles..

I WOKE UP LATE FOR MY FRIEND's JIE MEI THINGY =(

Ps called me at 7am which is the time I am supposed to reach there lor.. oh my god... luckily I didn't screwed up my friends clash gate party if not she kill me for sure.... with courtesy from my dad's cab.. if not I sure cannot make it in time =/ furthermore she lived in anchorvale.. lol my dad was driving at 120km/hr shhhh..

I manage to blend in just in time the groom just arrive with his brothers.. =D he got like 9 of them?? and just nice they were asking the first question heh heh

What is SX's favourite bear... liao.. its like so hard to spell... Rilakkuma bear and of course the groom got it wrong la... and as I was shouting punishment as well.. they call me a spy =( lol... and say that I was one of them ..

Guys:" Hey got one more 'xiong di' join us"
Me:" nooo.. I am with the gers ok.."

hahaha anyway it was good join in the shouting and demanding that the ang bao should be bigger cos I could actually see how many ten dollars;Billy, one of the brothers was trying to stuff inside haha

Kelvin the groom did the rest of the questions pretty well.. I think there was another question he got it wrong.. and they had to do the punishment of turning ard on the floor ten times with an umbrella.. they almost force me to do it >.< cos I was the only ger outside of course my Jie Meis in the house.. sayy noo she cannot haha heng =X

by the way I was the one who think of the punishment lor.. the turning ard with the umbrella.. -__-

Finally can go in after they give the final big ang bao heh heh then they started the underwear game where the guys were supposed to form a message saying " kelvin ♥ S x heh heh.. each underwear got one letter.. and each time they got it wrong after ten seconds it was forfeit with kissing.. =p from the groom brothers..

they had to draw lots from a bowl and then kiss the part where they drawed until.. on Kelvin's face wahahaha like lips ears or whatever.... and meanwhile I was helping them take video because all the guys had to help in the forming letters part.... only three times and they complete the message.. heh heh....

Then came the last part where the guys were supposed to wrap Kelvin up in wrapping papers... haha and present him to Sx in the room they really anyhow wrapped lol.. so big and messy lol

Hee was fun... and afterwards me and RL took Billy's car to the groom's place.. where they had tea ceremony and SX changed into her Kua... the traditional red dress.. and they had the tang yuan while sitting on the bed and kid rolling on the bed lolz..

ate jelly and shared drink with Lianz took pic and we left again to Sx house.. then we all get ready to leave to Marriot hotel... Sx sis was nicely dress in green dress too =) I guess especially for the christmas season heh heh and before we left had some food her mum prepared or bought..lolz luckily =D hadnt had my breakfast yet!! >.<

SO we were each given a goodie bag heez for being her jie mei =)

and the necklace SX bought for us to wear at her wedding =)

and then we visited the day room beside the suite.. which is complimentary heh heh and put our stuff in the room before we went down to the reception place... the suite for the couple was huge and pretty wow they can enjoy tonight LOL.. =) very comfy too

Shi Hui, me, AMelia and Peishan got ready at the reception to be the reception ladies... heh heh and ask pple to sign the guest book and give out complimentary parking coupons..

Quite alot of the groom's colleagues were kinda late haha but ok all manage to go in at about the time they indicated... and here is the Rilakkuma bear in case you are wondering what is it lol.... one of SX's pals bought the bear for her heh heh

then finally went inside to sit at the table when all the guests arrived...

Daniel was surprise to see me I think cos we haven met in like many years haha 0.0 think he was disappointed I had bf for 4 yrs le? =X LOL haha

Anyway the food was pretty good... and I enjoyed the first dish there was some fruit salad with prawns dipped in it in a champange glass of some sort surrounded by abalone clams, jelly fish, sushi, some rolls with man guang wrapped in it..

and next came.. shark fin ... even though Billy and RL mention it was a bit starchy I find it normal but I didn't finish it also haha... the steamed fish was very good =)

and then came the second march in where SX appear in a brown dress and a cute headband with like two antlers sticking out.. haha and the groom was wearing the xmas hat which we all had too... and wore it at the reception..

Haha the groom had a surprise for Sx.. heh he actually bought the 500 plus ring which she has been eyeing and asking him abt it lol.. so sweet xmas gift =D

and then we had to go on stage and shout yum seng with the couple lol...

and after that we went back to eating... yummy...

didnt really like the vegetable though lol then the roasted chicken was good and so was the live prawns haha and the ee main but I didn't finish too.. and lastly the red bean desert which was pretty well done.. not too sweet..

AFter stuffing ourselves with food... we went back to the day room to calculate the ang bao money we got from the groom when they gate crashed.. heh and was so pai seh... Billy had to wait for me and RL =X send us back cos he lived at Teck whye so he didn't mind sending us back...

Kelvin was a bit evil and they kinda teased about me and him.. so since they had so much fun teasing I just go along and play with them haha and took photo with Billy too.. think he was very shy? 0.0

Anyway afterwards I took some more photos with SX and Kelvin and we go back... and on the way back.. we just chatted rubbish.. and Billy asked for my namecard I didn't have it with me.. so I wrote a "namecard" for him.. haha hopefully when he want to make spec will come my shop lol..

YAY back home.. where I napped like I was dead for three hrs haha

Anyway sis was off on Thursday as well =D
so I forced her to accompany me to Orchard where I checked out the saloons at Far East PLaza.. wow competition is sure tough man.. most of them like come out of their shops to quote u prices...

Got one saloon Frances and Jean looks very nice from the outside.. pink and whitish think the saloon manager is Yvonne or something.. they quoted $110 to color my whole head.. and 80 bucks just to touch up.. maybe my hesitant face or something.. got one guy suddenly appear and say if I want to do my whole head he can discount for me at $80 bucks 0.0

Erm and he mention my hair very little =( maybe my hair keeps dropping wehhh..
Anyway I told them I consider first...

Then walk ard suddenly saw the Sassy Image hair saloon.. where I saw the ad... online.. true a young guy came out of the shop and quoted me 60 bucks only for my hair length and they use Matrix color a product bought over by Loreal.. but I asked him how long will it take he said two hours plus or three hours.. so I left with my sis because I was meeting the gers later and didn't want to be late...

Oh well.. went to walk ard and realised the Coffee Bean at Taka was closed =S.. sad... then I went to hunt for Coffee Bean outlets with my sis.. before that she hadn't had anything for lunch so her tummy was growling.. so we went to Taka Basement and she bought a jap cheese Pancake..

Luckily we managed to find a Coffee Bean outlet outside Paragon =D and I treat my sis to Mocha and Carrot cake yummy. haha X__x wow I can see my buldging tummy X__X

Then she see me play PsP a while... before we went to Heeren to check out the shops...

Then I went to Orchard Mrt to wait for Irene and the rest.. WeiFen spot me then came along PeiLi....

We went to Breeks first while poor Irene was stuck in office.... apparently something did not tally and she was forced to stay back to make sure everything is in order....

So we went ahead and order food... while we ate we chat a lot.. it was nice... =) I had a great time talking to the gers... Yu xin could not make it this time round hopefully I can see her soon...

And finally on Friday went to dye my hair at the Sassy Image hair saloon..

made an appointment through the hp cos no one picked up the phone when I called.. 0.0 so it was the boss hp.. and he helped me booked an appoinment mentioning he won't be ard so I could look for any hairstlylist..

So course I chose the guy who quoted me the price ytd..he attended to me quite alright.. Sam he did a pretty good job in making sure my color was evenly dyed =D quite satisfied with his service and we chatted too..

and the boss is pretty young actually 0.0 and Sam was a bit sian haha cos his boss suddenly came and most prob Sam will have to cut his hair later.. then i told him he should be happy boss look up to him.. His boss got dyed brown hair too 0.0 young and hip should look quite good too dun dare to see too long LOL

was very happy =D I had mocha brown hair when I came out of the shop..
then I was happily walking ard shopping lol... got two skirts two headbands .. and gold earrings for Shu xin's wedding =D

Then I went to visit Sunny a while in his shop then I walked ard some more before bf came.. haha nice of him he got off work early and I met him at Far East we had dinner at Ramen Ten 0.0

Not too bad I kinda like the salmon and the fries were nicely done =) not too hard and just nice soft in the inside crisp on the outside

and afterwards we went to Takashimaya where bf bought stuff for his colleagues.. and he manage to saw his NUS friend.. '

Hez so finally meet up with the gers in TCC to discuss on what games to play when the groom arrive for SX's wedding day =D COol yeah =p My first time being a Jie Mei..

I met SX ealier as it was my off day.. we arrive at the cosy TCC and we went inside to book seats and order drinks first had a good long chat with her.. apparently even though we didn't talk to each other that much since like few yrs back.. we still could click very well on the same wavelength it's like telepathy.. and she knows what I mean and feel when I mention certain things and shares with me how her work and life has been lately.. maybe before this life we were sisters? =X I feel happy talking to her..

This is my cuppucino I ordered... not too bad I practicaly finished the whole glass... maybe I was too thirsty? lol

And I had this Mushroom and CHicken Sandwhich with wholewheat bread.. didn't have the bread.. was kinda hard.. and SH helped me finish up the tortilla chips at the side..

This is SX wedding card... and she gave us a necklace each to wear on her wedding day..

He was in his new shop Monsoon spectacle shop.. looks nice and right beside him was the shop Twister.. set up by Lee Guo Huang and Eddy aka the famous guy who does celebrities hair

Went inside the shop for a haircut having promotion now by their leading hairstylist only $20.50.. pretty good head massage I got and the haircut was not too bad.. got the V shape I wanted at the back.. but I worry after washing mY hair dunno will the effect still be there a not or will be one big messy lump...

The hair dresser Sean was quite friendly we basically chatted quite a lot of stuff.. and he even told me how his work is and stuff haha

Eddy ask me how was everything before I left the shop though I felt Sean cut my hair not much I didn't really mention but I told him his service was very good. haha well he was trying his best I guess and he threw me a lot of advice on how to care for my hair..

Bought my yummy Yam bubble milk tea and walk ard the shops... could not finish lol... pop by my sis spec shop and force her to finish it for me... haha she got a cute spec which I kinda like.. maybe will get it from her =P

then I was like very bored and didn't want to go home yet.. so I practically walk all over Jurong Point even the outside MRT shops as well... walk until about six pm decide to meet bf tonight because felt i should after all the weird talk ytd...

unfortunately his company was ill treating him and lol he only get off work at about 8 plus and got cab ride at 830pm.. luckily my legs didn't break from all that walking...

A funny thing happen when I reached Choa Chu Kang Mrt.. a guy suddenly stopped me and asked me questions.. at first I thought he was asking me directions abt how to go somewhere.. then I realised he was asking something else..

X guy: " sorry very sorry Just can I ask you something?"

Me: " ...??" look on face

X guy: "Can I just get to know you?.. sorry sorry to bother you.."

Me: " Sorry what did you say again?"

X guy: " sorry to bother you.. I was just trying to know if I could get to know you better.."

Me: " er... sorry..." I smiled in an apologetic way

X guy: "Oh sorry to bother you.."

With that I quickly walk into the nearest shop beside me.. oh oh hope he didnt feel bad.. but it's just that you can somehow tell with some pple you just cannnot click even as friends. He was like way out of my social kind anyway.. He was presentable but he just was not my type.I applaud for his courage because I had those kind of fierce looking face when I dun smile lol..

maybe my haircut is really nice ha. LOL

waited and waited finally bf arrive lol... went to Delifrance to eat because seriously the set meals are a good deal.. for 7.80 or 11.80 before gst or service charge you could get a set meal, soup/salad, desert and tea/coffee..

and they got pretty good service now with free bread and butter and water served before our meal arrives.. total was 23 plus after gst and everything... the desert selling for abt 5.50 a slice so my bf and I actualy eating 2 dollar plus of cake each.. looking at the size.. worth it la =p like foodcourt price le a few dollars more.. and cappitaland card got rebate .. haha =D

Bf brought me to the arcade and caught a Stich Head for me and A sun Wu Kong for himself.. haha cutes. he got very good at catching small toys out of a certain machine..

and afterwards tired me and him went home

When I first read about Quarter life crisis I was basically laughing.. because I was thinking like how could anyone feel like emotional over their age when they are only 25. I mean it's like young you know... Mid life crisis yeah I understand you already halfway there and moreover some people only live up tp 60 plus or 70...

But maybe just maybe if you think about it... I am also like 1/3 away from the end of my life.. because I am definite I cant live until 100.. I mean who can in Singapore... It's kinda stressful right.. with all the high cost of living and medical care.

That means I have already lived 1/3 of my life..
ONE THIRD.
and suddenly the realisation hits me..
SO what have I achieved so far in my life...

Oh gross like I need further emphasis on like I am in a job with no great prospects.. Good?? I dun think it comes even close... and I am still unmarried.. wait wait lets think about it.. marriage is good but you dun want to marry just any guy because there are those who got married and well.. divorced which means you have to get married AGAIN??! I think the second time is much harder though I SWEAR they make it sound like so easy on Desperate Housewives.

And lets take a look at maybe erm how have my soul been doing??? OK I am not that religious either I am not a devout buddhist nor a catholic nor a church going christian. Ask me whether I believe in gods.. I do.. just that maybe I believe more in Buddhism and along comes spirits, ufos... I mean I have no reason to deny their existence after hearing so many "TRUE" stories about them.

SO basically after living through till 25.. I am still back in square one. Ewww.. thinking about it just makes me go crazy. =(

I know I am just going along with life.. which is not what I want. I wat to be in charge of my life not flowing along and seeing how things goes.

Maybe that's why I have tell myself 2009 will be different.. I mean I will be inclined to just go with the flow.. but I think I need to remind myself there is just this much to life and sometimes you really cannot predict when is it that you will be gone. it's just that mysterious..

oh well.. MAYBE this can explain why Britney was suddenly single.. married, divorced, married again to another.. 2 kids and single again.. well take a look at the great part. at least she experienced so much in these few years which is really quite the achievement for someone her age. And maybe there is no good or bad experience. I think we all learn something along the way.. something you maybe dun feel great about is just a learning or preparation for something in future that may come aong.. and when it does.. maybe all that learning and experience comes in handy.

OK enough talking about my supposedly quarter life crisis..

I took some pictures on my bday celebration with bf.. WE went to sentosa for my birthday and we had a great stay in Sentosa Rasa hotel... no believe me you cannot hate there.. nice sun.. nice beach.. love the seA.. though sadly to say it started to rain like after we checked in but of course our mood was not spoilt... got umbrellas from the counter and we went to vivo for a nice meal.. this time I had a bday dinner treat from bf. Went to White Dog's Cafe...

This is the very creamy and thick mushroom soup. You can basically feel the texture of the soup.. lots of mushrooms hmm.. good soup about 8/10. i would say.. but Marche still is like the number 1 mushroom soup for me.. the taste is hard to explain. it's very yummy =)

and of course for our main course. BAD ME.. haha no pictures taken because maybe we were busy gobbling up the food.. I know we had this great meal like a side dish... that was fried.. ok basically I got very short term memory.. and some nice main course.. I had fish and chips if i remembered clearly.. bf had some great meat that was like chicken. black pepper or something.. I had this nice chai latte.. =p and dear had some alcholic coffee.. this is the first time heard him praising that the coffee was great.. duh bet it was just the alcohol.. it's like bailey's coffee or something.. we went back after the meal and on our way back we stopped by Cafe Del Mar...

haha nice after hearing abt this place so long.. it's actually the first time I went there. I had some drink that was kinda bitter =| and dear had this nice mojito.. very yummy haha... we shared this scoop of vanilla ice cream which was very good.. bf like it a lot..

afterwards we went back to the hotel where he sang me a bday song before we sleep lol.. eat and sleep on such a comfy bed somemore.. >.< so nice haha =p

By the way bf was just back from his China work trip and he bought me some gifts from there...

a tissue holder disguised as a sheep which I basically hug to sleep nowdays lol

the next day we had again the fabulous buffet breakfast.. I mean I always enjoyed it.. the milo is definitely one of a kind.. very good like from the original milo van heh heh....and you could have scrambled eggs with cheese and mushrooms.. or just your normal sunny side up.. and nice waffles... with hotdogs... and even asian cusine like prata... and there is this indian food.. the whitish stuff resembling very fine bee hoon stucked together.. u can eat together with the bright orange kind of sugar.. very nice fruits... banana yum yum haha and u could toast yr bread and have cakes... dear had porridge too if i remembered clearly and you tiao that was good =D nice and crunchy yet not too hard...

such a full breakfast man =X and guess what we could still sleep after that lol..

afterwards.. we went back home and met later again in the evening had dinner in this jap restaurant.. which was so expensive considering the small portions they gave us... never again =( its like on the top floor of FAR EAST PLAZA..

and we shopped ard trying to find a nice dress for my friend's wedding and we did =) got a good deal in fact was very happy.. though i think bf had a hard time... guys cant do much shopping when it comes to clothes.. i think it bored their minds out lol.. but he was nice enough to accompany me =D

and later was kinda upset thinking maybe no one bought a cake for me.. my bf bought me a yam cake which I chose heh heh from Angie's choice had almost got Hagen Daz ice cream cake.. 90 plus to 100 plus.. told my bf to forget it.. there was no way I was going to let him spent that much eating a cake. LOL

Next day was spent celebrating with my friends.. sec sch pals.. had a great time with them at Cafe Cartel Plaza SIngapura.. was suppose to go to Aston's Specialist for dinner but the queue was extremely long at Cathy gave up lol..

We had a nice meal.. and the bread is still yummy =D was okay spent about 70 plus after 15% off from my Visa Debit card.. THANKS PAT haha if not for the card I signed up with the step up account.. I wouldn't have any discount lol

took lots of cute pics with the gers and afterwards accompany PS to her bf's workplace in Demsey.. the cafe with Ben and Jerry's in it.. I think it's call CA' =) haha shes pretty sweet she got me a voodoo doll and some cute clippers.. to clip documents together.. and her bf made a small earl grey tea cream buele' for me =D very nice a mini cake =) and he wrote very cursive and nice letters to wish me happy birthday.. and we had chatted a while and they waited for the bus with me X__X so pai seh haha and he treated us to drinks too so pai seh heh heh

when I was back to work.. seen hui and raymond bought a present for meee =D heh heh it was a cute gift a nice accessory holder.. like a set of small drawers with cute pictures and mirrors on it.. to put all my accessories.. =D and Dayah actually came down and find us and treat us both to Swenson's ice cream cone.. wa first time eat its cone ice cream heh heh =)

lol.. and on Mon.. Hari Raya Haji... went Heeren.. trying to shop for my bday gift.. but no luck with Fossil shop they dun have the design I wanted for my watch.. and the wallet I checked up online they didn't have it in the shop too... we ended up eating at Pasta De waraku which was miserable protions for expensive food.. won't be going back there again.

Walked ard town area then to CCk where we had Mac for dinner... no luck in present but had bought bf a Levis jean for his bday.. Hope he likes it

haha on Dec 10 bf had took leave cos we finally 4 years together... =X meet him at the bus stop and coincidentally saw one of my customers had a real good chat with her before my bus and bf arrived... we took 190 to town area and dear surprise me with red roses =D

took the pictures of the roses after a day so some already seemingly dried at the top =/

Ate at Aston Specialist with dear waited quite a bit before it was our turn but it was worth it.. =) good food at reasonable prices... I had milk while bf had IBC rootbeer heh heh

dear ordered cream of mushroom and I had BBQ hickory char grilled chicken with coleslaw and corn on the cob while dear had Teriyaki Chicken VERY GOOD =) I love the coleslaw was unable to finish the portion pretty big for me =D

Haiz I dun want to cry.. after all I am already 25 le... but really a lot of sadness is like weighing on my shoulders these days..

Ha Ha like economic crisis sia... now everything feels so turbulent in my life... I wish sometimes I could live life simply be back to a small kid just a small cone of ice cream to satisfy my daily needs... happy with no worries...

Really.. cannot understand why my family is like that these few days.. I am happy for my sis but these days its like she's hardly at home even after her work.. she can come back like at 3am..

And I cant really say my dad is like freaking me out with all the weird things... his eyes are not in the best shape now and he needs to go for surgery.. hopefully everything will be ok and the stupid sms thingy will stop.. shouldnt say more cos its pretty personal..

I feel so worried.. sometimes like as if my family is going to collapse...

And work isn't that great too with the stupid downturn sales haven been pretty bad already and to make it worst i got weird customers coming in to shout at me duhz... like as if shouting can solve anything at all.. why cannot pple just calm down..

Oh on a happier note... my bf brought me to Sentosa on the day before my Bday to celebrate with me over the weekend.. he surprise me with a pregnant Giraffe.. i say that because it has a big belly lol and Hello kitty bedroom slippers.. a Mickey mouse cup and a cute sheep that can be used as a tissue cover...

=) we had a great day and we ate at Vivo city White Dog Cafe.. shall update the pics later when I got time =D

and before we headed back to our hotel room we went Cafe Del Mar.. haha it was my first time there^ finally went to the place where I always heard about..

We had a good rest though I dreamt abt some weird white vampire alike zombies tryin to chew off human flesh.. I was happily sleeping on the comfortable bed...

Think next time I would invest in a good bed.. think it's the most important thing .. we spent like abt half of our day on it anyway...

My nice bf shopped with me for my JIe Mei dress for Sx wedding on Christmas heh heh so sweet =) and then we were being taken for carrots at Nambatei or something.. this jap restaurant is at the forth floor of Far East... so expensive.. my poor dear burned a hole in his pocket =(

And he bought me a nice yam cake to celebrate my bday... haha he's nice

And today during my off.. we went to suntec to catch Bolt.. in 3D I was a bit put off by the price at first $30 for 2 tickets but bf manage to persuade me it was worth it =D luckily we did go catch it.. I think without the 3D effect this cartoon would seem less cuter... especially bolt.. he is sucha cute dog... and loyal too.. I felt like tearing at the scene where Bolt stayed back to save Penny... but I controlled didnt want my bf to laff at me.. cry so easily =/

We went to Asian Kitchen for Lunch nothing special but bf sad its the last time he was going to go there.. cos the food tasted pretty bland to him.. Well I had nice msg soup though haha my plan to eat prawn meat was kinda ruined cos the prawn dumpling was apparently Pork dumpling -_- man I miss those wanton dumplings in HOng kong It was a whole big prawn wrapped inside =D

Saw G2000 sale wanted to buy this shirt for bf but maybe he dun want me to anyhow waste money i think =|

and we went back to his house after that which I played Mortal Combat on his cool new big LCD tv... haha the screen resolution was good.. even when watching the Star wars on tv.. I felt it was like kinda really very 3d lol...

FInally ate beancurd.. from the coffee shop very smooth =D shall try the grass jelly next time..

OK after eating so much still nothing came diaoz.. think my body is really messed up

First of all Yandao Bought very nice snowskin truffle Mooncakes from Raffles for my family...

Rating 4/5 Yummy... =D You can actually smell the mooncake when u open the metal box.. and the fact that the mooncakes are encased in such a lovely box You feel happy on seeing it without even eating it yet =D

3.5/5 two snowskin white lotus mooncake, 1 yam and 1 durian... Haven tried the durian and yam one but was pretty satisfied with the white lotus flavour.. the filling wasn't that sweet.. pity though the snowskin was a bit on the soft side.. most probably due to the fact they left it out in the open a bit too long..

But it's four pieces for 10 bucks.. wow cheap sia LOL

So just had dinner with the rest of the gang to cleberate SH's Bday.. we had a great time at Timbre The pizza was pretty great and so was the fries.. I cannot recall the name they had a special name lol.. oh yah Louisana fries or something.. they were served with cheese and mayonnaise or something like that yummy...

We also had chicken kebab on skewer.. and some lagsana =D~

What a fattening day.. it was great hanging out with the gers cause they told me lots of stuff and what has been happening in their life lately..

I am feeling so so so restless..

I can't seem to concentrate on watching the drama serials =/ and I cannot seem to concentrate playing games online =(

it's like my mind is running all over the place...

My dad was just telling me how my cousin is earning 3 k plus a month with her Business dip.. in a finance company and the benefits were pretty good .. suddenly feel like a useless person haha.. my cousin is those type who keep playing at sch last time now also earn so much ..

And my friend was telling me his friend business dip earn like 10k a month without comission some more.. haha

and i am still stuck in miserable pay in miserable company. doing miserable stuff getting scold by miserable customers lol...

Ok the only thing is not so miserable is that Huang Jun Xiong walk into my shop on Tuesday and talked to me haha... he's really tall and good looking He got big big eyes =D~

and then back to the same sad life =/ OK today was pretty ok too cos the cow came my shop and bought me "prima deli" waffles... ok they didnt taste the same as the last time I had them but it's the thought that counts.. he even bought me and my colleague bubble tea... and then after my colleague drink finish he then mention he dun like Green tea.. what the -___- then ask me choose some more duh...

Hmm i think my ankle still hurts.. clumsy me accidentally hurt my ankle when walking in my heels on Saturday =|

Went for a long jog.. erm ok it wasn't exactly so long abt an hr and fifteen mins.. last time I used to be able to jog like 2 hr plus.. but this time my knee cap hurts.. I dunno is it the lack of calcium making my cartilage worn out..

Well on Sat went to Vivo with yandao after opening an bank account, we went to Orange Lantern to eat.. the food was pretty good but a tad expensive.. especially the six dollars chendol =/ It's call Tri Color drink or something.. think my bf almost killed me haha we could have got it for like 1.50 elsewhere X___X

I had the Chicken wrap heh I love it lots of lettuce =D and the veg salad was pretty unique =P bf had the Chicken pho noodles the soup was super nice.. heh

He bought me a RipCurl wallet after I felt that other branded wallets are too ex.. =/ I wonder should I have asked for a LV wallet instead?? lol anyway I know bf wun buy for me =( it's too ex..

Afterwards we caught the MUmmy 3.. haha we smuggled fruit jellies and CAlbee into the movie lolz.. and we had coke light =D~ yum yum

The movie was soso... I thought we should have caught Money No ENough 2.. should be way better heard pretty good reviews on it..

Later we went to the arcade to play some games.. there was this new game where you threw balls and when they hit the screen there will be response.. its like a huge touch screen activated through ball slamming lol... pretty cool... proud of us we did pretty well.. got some A and B and an S for super i guess on certain stages.. lol

Later bf had to buy some tiger balm oil for me cos my leg was hurting quite a bit =(
and then we went to Zhong Huan for dinner.. bleah nothing special except for its bowl glue to its soup bowl..

Later Pat arrive and we went to St James with him.. So many people went haha.. I think his friend Jasmine and Jas friends Nili and her bf... Zhenrong and his colleagues... and Ya lin and her hubby was there too and their friends... the homosexual guy was pretty funny on stage but he did mention jokes that were very RA.. haha but was kinda funny..

Drank some did not drink a lot.. was pretty tired and so I didnt talk a lot too maybe bothered by the fact I still had to work on Sunday... =(

I dun think it's that time of the month but I still feel sad leh. I also not sure why maybe Irene know what I mean lol..

maybe I feel like my career path is going nowhere and everything else is just as empty like a piece of paper. I know they always say we should look at life through tinted glasses but I tried and sometimes it's just hard to ignore all the big scratches on the glasses.

It's raining heavily now.. actually I dun understand why there is so much trouble always. Maybe is people ownself ask for it de.. or maybe I think past life do too many bad deeds le this life all the bad things happen..

erms..

I did so many things in the past few weeks..

Went to Zouk on a wed night(somewhere in middle of June) because it was my colleague's Birthday and gave her a surprise by saying I am not going haha.. before that was dinner with Sx and the rest and it was confirmed her wedding dinner will be this Dec 25 so sweet right on Christmas Day itself =)

Had fun at Zouk but think YD drank too much too though he didnt puke he was going woozy.. haha guess what Jason and his gf was there too.. both of them are teachers how cool is that?!! I bet if they had a kid, the kid will be super brainy heh heh. It was nice knowing Jason's gf hate burbon coke like me yay its a sucky drink. JenXXX introduce me one drink call midori pretty sweet and nice.. and though she ordered like many many jugs supposedly for everyone to drink, she drank so much too till I could see her falling left and right when she wanted to dance..

Too bad a few of them got drunk pretty fast and were puking all over. =S Some guy tried to hit on AnnXX and SunXX tried staring at the guy.. duh for fun la -__-""

Poor SH's bf got drunk too.. whoops guess we were all getting too old for drinks >.<

and like on Saturday night after work we went clubbing again.. haha and guess what I saw my jc classmate SY.

and afterwards Ailing tapped me on the shoulder lol.. such a small world heh...

and to reward ourself for a hard week.. YD book a hotel room beside Zouk and so next day we had a fabulous breakfast =D~~

and on following wednesday I went Arena with my sis.. we had a fun time but I think I cannot stand clubbing so much cos the following few days I fell sick haha poor old me.. =|

And not long I just went Sentosa with YD.. It was so fun.. there were many hunks and babes playing beach ball =D~ haha Just like the show I watching on ch 8. But they really potrayed Christopher Lee as a rich hunk lol.. he's got a pretty good body for a 30 plus year old.. not to mention the Buffet breakfast was one of the best I had. They even had milo and You Tiao...

We also went to see the Songs of the Sea which was pretty crappy actually but some of the laser lights were pretty cool and fire effects were hot.. the fireworks at the last part is breath taking =) Dinner was pretty expensive cos YD insisted on pampering ourselves to buffet dinner.. geesh I feel so fat with all the food munching.

And erm I only blog halfway abt my trip at HOng Kong.. SO LAZY... okok i go rest a bit now.. life of a pig lol

Ha Ha I can't believe how lazy I was =X truth is my holiday in Hong Kong was already like a month ago and I only decide to blog today. With so many events coming up it's really hard to keep track of time though =/ Sorry if any of you keep checking back only to see my entry was dated like a month ago lol

So actually the trip was kindly sponsered by my dear well.. because I guess he really did something bad and he wanted to show how sorry he was.. and so he suggested we could go on for a trip to Hong Kong where we could indulge in fantasy and forget our troubles?

Heh heh So we actually got ready on March 31st.. and he came in taxi at abt 4am because our flight was at 6am yup so early.. haha :D

Was surprised dear could wake up so early and even wear his contacts lol.. my poor eye was red from removing the idiot ciba focus daily lens... they really suck big time because less than two hours they became very very dry and were stuck to my eyeball like glue had such a difficult time removing them. geesh!

well the trip to airport was really expensive cos it cost abt forty or so -.- Singapore is sure expensive.. as it was still very very early we got our tickets and manage to walk ard the new T3.. and we ended up in Burger King having breakfast?? lol super early yay there were fries already hee hee =p

My bf was very concious of the fact he didn't study and had only left abt 2 mths plus to complete like few thick books.. so along in the trip he bought his book. 0.0
oh my god.. luckily I didn't faint.. =( lol but i forgive him he has too much to study

and soon we were off on the plane.. United airlines.. it wasn't exactly the best but of course there was great music to listen to and we had breakfast served with nice blanket covering us =p so I was still pretty happy... the food was served in the way I wanted.. there was omelette and sausage but i gave most of my sausage to my dear cos i was growing sideways

We reached Hong Kong abt ten plus and we met up with our nice tour guide.. it was like free and easy so basically he was trying to ripped us off by bringing us to guided tours the next day but we politely declined because seriously I think we were hacked big time the last time we were in Taiwan.

He was a nice guy but he had bad breathe =( sorry to say this, so maybe pple in the front line should really check out for their breathes ya =/

He suggested a few places where we could have our meals and where we could go shopping =D~

Very soon the bus came and we were off to our first destination.. HOllywood Hotel in DIsneyland yay yay yay... I have never been to Disneyland before.. felt like such a big kid hee hee

After experiencing the freezing air.. we scurried into our hotel and boy it was absolutely delightful =p I guess it must have been a five star or four star hotel cos it was very nicely furnished and the bed was comfy heh heh

we went to Disneyland with the provided bus trip and yay we keep taking photos ok.. i was the on forcing my bf to take photos.. not that I am very photogenic in fact I hate taking pics because I look so fat. haha but I wanted something to remember by when i grow old..

we went ard the streets.. and it was like Disney is separated into four areas.. we visited mainly the fantasy world.. had so much fun spinning ard in mad hatter's tea cup.. think dear was feeling pukey after I spinned our cup too fast.. lol

and we saw some of the pple singing in Cantonese for their performances which is really a bit funny to me.. cos you know they were supposed to be singing like English songs but all of it was in cantonese lyrics lol.. there were cheerleaders in short skirts.. geesh cant imagine if Derek saw this he would probably be salivating until it floods there.

We also went to have sits at the pony rides.. you know that goes around in circles up and down.. some pony carousel =p it was realy nice.. =) I never ride on this before.. heh heh =D

And we had rides that go way up high and low and u were free to control how high u wanted the dumbo elephant to go.. you know the one with the big ears =p yeap I almost killed pple with my flying diet coke bottle which was only half empty LOLz..

We also caught the Golden Mickey show... which wasn't too bad... but they were singing in cantonese still seems pretty weird to me luckily they got all the english translations up on the screen beside the stages if not... i would be listening to like alien language.

Another one we had was the nice 3d show they put up for us =D there were like flying images infront of us.. it was very real with our 3d glasses.. and we were throughly amazed... wow seeing is believing lol.. this phrase is really put to the test i guess

and the most scary ride we had was at the space zone.. =( I was so freaked out didn't know it was really a roller coaster ride.. I was screaming my head off...so scared I was so afraid I was going to get flung away.. Can't imagine the old granny and her hubby taking this scary ride... they were like going into the ride before us.. gosh =/

lol dear bought a cute cat ears hair band for me lolz... I feel like such a kiddo...

and really afterwards we were exhausted..... and before we really end the night we had this really really expensive dinner buffet at the hotel which cost us a total abt 130 plus ba =S i think... urghz... kids there r rich I guess saw quite a few young couples dining there.. woah..

and we ended the night sleeping.. I didn't sleep the night before so guess i was really really sleepy.. =/

ok... i will post what happen on the rest of the days of our trip in the next entry... X___x

So tired from all the work.. trying to see whether getting a new job will benefit me a not.. anyway I am trying for it just see how it goes..

Needed referee for my job application and suddenly realised I have fewer and fewer friends =/ I mean yup I do still hang out with some of my sec sch pals during our birthdays and I just felt kinda surprised both of them already got proposed to by their bfs this year.. time seems to fly past so quickly and nowdays it seems like we are all so busy with our own lives.. I didn't even know SX was getting married this year till we meet up..

=/ Guess we went from best friends to casual friends =( sad but true.. guess being an adult isn't really that fun ha.. so much responsibilities so little time..

I miss being young and carefree when I was a kid..
I miss my ice cream cone after my kindergarten class.. and my repeated telecasts of Ch 8 shows in the afternoon after my school...
I miss walking in Bedok Reservoir with my mum and sis on Saturday afternoons where we stroll by the long long drain and even pluck some lalangs because they were just too lovely...
I miss taking pictures with the animals in the zoo and playing with the animals in Children's world where my sis and I try to feed the animals with grass..
I miss looking down from the eight storey in anticipation when my dad's taxi drove into the carpark and me and my sis would be busy looking at my dad's hands to see if he was carrying our favourite Mac Donald's..
I miss going to ML's house to play with her cute dog and laze the afternoon away at her house..
I miss going to YL's house just to play after school..
I miss skipping Choir practise just to go to F's house to bake cookies
I miss having birthday celebrations with my family because there will always be a cake with presents to open up..

just feel that my off days are always not enough =/

Went to catch a good movie with dear on Friday after my work.. RULE #1 yeah ghost show.. and the best was EKin Cheng was acting in the movie too hee hee..

It was pretty scary at a few scenes.. and before that yandao and me triedd catching the stuff toy at X-zone.. but after spending so much we gave up cos we caught air only...

On SUnday accompany dear to go study for his CFA..
we went JEC again and of course we could not resist catching some toys haha bad us.. think we should stop this habit for the last time.. think it's too costly lol..

Had Delifrance for lunch.. and I had moccha.. cos I didn't really want to eat the set meal which dear keep forcing me to eat hahaha....

Then we caught Daisy duck after some tries.. haha so happy =D

and we tried our luck at the big Mickey mouse machine.. YAY WE CAUGHT IT =D yandao is getting better at this haha =p

And then after studying for sometime in the library... oh by the way I saw one of my customer in the library Mr Y. he was like shocked to see me there haha but I just waved Hello to him.

we were out tyring to deforze and settle in Macdonalds for some food in the end..
we went back JEC to catch DOnald duck lol.. after seeing a couple spent like so much trying to catch the toys lolz and we suceeded with the help of the nice lady working there =D

Antibiotics are used to treat infections caused by bacteria. Most times when you catch a cold or are down with flu or have a mild sore throat these are caused by viruses. It is of no use to ask the doctor to give you antibiotics for these.

What is antibiotic resistance?

When people don't take antibiotics properly or do not finish the course, instead of eliminating the infection altogether, the antibiotic kills only the weaker, non-resistant organisms and leaves the tougher ones to become more resistant. And you will need stronger antibiotics to fight off this resistant strain of bacteria the next time around.

To reduce the problem of antibiotic resistance:

Follow your doctor's instructions when taking antibiotics.

Take your antibiotics at the same time every day.

Finish all your antibiotics to kill the bacteria completely.

Never take another person's antibiotics.

Do not take antibiotics for a cold or the flu, since these are viral infections that do not respond to antibiotic.

Avoid doctor-hopping as this will make it more difficult for the doctor to come to an accurate diagnosis.

What If Antibiotics Are Used Incorrectly?

No healing effect - If antibiotics are used for viral infections, there will be no effect on the illness.

Antibiotic resistance - This occurs when one antibiotic no longer works on a specific type of bacteria. A stronger antibiotic will be needed to treat the infection caused by this resistant strain of bacteria.

What Causes Antibiotic Resistance?

Antibiotic resistance develops when antibiotics are used wrongly such as:

Antibiotics taken when not needed, thus killing the 'good' bacteria, which normally keep harmful bacteria from multiplying, and allowing harmful bacteria to multiply and cause illness.

Insufficient antibiotics taken e.g. lower than the required dose or when full course is not completed, resulting in not all the harmful bacteria being killed. The surviving harmful bacteria then change to protect themselves against the particular antibiotic. So this same antibiotic may not work the next time you take it!

Use Antibiotics Correctly

Don't demand antibiotics from your doctor because they do not work for all infections. Let your doctor decide the appropriate treatment for you. If your doctor prescribes antibiotics for you, take them correctly to prevent antibiotic resistance.

Take the antibiotic as frequently as instructed so that there will be enough antibiotic in your blood to kill all the harmful bacteria. Find out if you need to take them before or after your meals. Some antibiotics become less effective if they are taken with food.

Take the correct dose of antibiotic. Insufficient antibiotics delay your recovery and may also lead to antibiotic resistance.

Finish the full course of antibiotics because this is the amount needed to kill the harmful bacteria. Although you may feel better after starting the antibiotic, not all the bacteria would have been killed yet. Also, never share your antibiotics with someone else or take somebody else's unfinished course of antibiotics.

Urghz I dun even know how the flu bug came to me =/
So weird I dunno is it the heaty food I have been eating .. like er?? fish and chips?? and Mac breakfast?? Or is my immune system simply too weak =\

There wasn't much stuff to do at work today.. the construction guys came down and try to mend the cracking ceiling before we got squashed by the fake ceiling..guess boss was afraid that any customer might get killed by falling ceiling haha...

There wasn't much people at work today.. haha was bored out of my wits and did some shelf cleaning.. and funny thing is realised my nose wasn't feeling that good and stopped after cleaning up two long rows of spectacles.. was like sniffing =( maybe it was the dust..??

finally work ended and yandao surprised me by caoming to find me.. haah thought he will be at home gaming =p So nice of him heh.. he bought a big jacket for me to wear when i mentioned i was cold.. hee hee

He bought a cup of hot tea for me to sip on on the way back...

now my nose is running like crazy and my throat hurts like hell. I hate being sick haiz...

Been sick so many times.. think i am allergic to work... I never fell ill so many times when I was studying... it was only like when i started work here bleah.. now i get sick like so mnay times in a year. geesh save mee... haha

Wednesday after work dear came fetch me after I sms him'" Dear you never come find me today!" lol =X

We ate some nice mac fries and my favourite coke light and we stroll home .. its always so cold at night Brr...

On Thursday Yandao had no work cos of his camp stuff and he accompany me eat Mac breakfast though he could not really get up =D oh my lol... bad me =|
then after his camp stuff I met him at Lot one in the evening to catch the L movie.. the Jap guy is sure funny.. especially the way he types the keyboard and pick up stuff... it's like he cant use until his palms.. haha

And the white looking guy eats a lot of sugary stuff... and apparently is a very messy eater -.- ok ok I know that's not the whole show is about but I just cannot stop thinking how weird that guy is..

I ate fish and chips for dinner while dear had some dumpling noodle soup..

haha what a fattening day just eat and sit.. I feel like a potato now.. =/

Think I miss yandao at night =/ luckily he bribe these folks to accompany me at night

But they still cannot replace u yandao X___x

Hee Hee.. yay back from spending one whole Sunday with yandao =D

Let's see on Wednesday I went to meet him on Bouna Vista after his work... whoops was a tiny bit late =/ It was nice seeing him after his work heh heh =)

We walked from the mrt to Holland Village where we checked out several restaurants before deciding where to eat. Guess what heh heh we chose Hog's Breath Cafe.. =D Didn't knew I got a chance to eat there so soon after hearing it from Shi Wei haha =p

The ambience was great and definitely kinda romantic =D
I chose a chicken wrap while he had fish of the day which was dory fish...

Oh the fries were absolutely amazing hee =p I guess they are call hog's tails because of the way they curled up =D
and the bailey's with milk was so good...

After the nice meal guess dear was afraid I was bored so he asked me whether I wanted to go anywhere or sing KTV.. in the end we went JEC 0.o and played games at the arcade lol... then we went home =D

SO on Saturday after my work, Yandao came and brought me to JEC where we bought tickets for the show Death of Ian Stone. And we has some fries and drinks at Mac..

afterwards we went back to arcade.. try to catch some stuffies but it was so hard and there was this bunch of guys very amused catching stuffies from the UFO catcher machine..

lol apparently one of them spent only one buck and caught a mickey mouse 0.o So lucky heh.. and afterwards they were like amused when they almost catch the stuffies but didnt and after many many tries one of them finally caught a cute stitch lol.

We were so obsessed with the toy catching game.. we miss a few mins of the front part of the movie.. whoops.. the movie wasn't that bad I kinda enjoy it hee hee =D
Even though it was pretty chim.. I thought it was kinda interesting how anyone could think of such a plot. X____x

Afterwards we took a cab home even though Yandao mention he want to go sing Ktv but I mention it was kinda expensive and coerce him to leave that thought alone.

On Sunday I woke up pretty early and met Yandao.. poor boy overslept lol and we were supposed to meet at ten am but ended up meeting at abt ten forty five or so.. we then went back to JEC where we try catching stuffies lol... this time dear was pretty lucky too.. he manage to spent only like one buck and he caught a Mickey Mouse for me =D

and then after wards we try the sweetland catcher game and got a STITCH! YES I FINALLY GOT THE STICH! wahahahha =D thanks dear.. lol and he was pretty lucky.. he manage to hit jackpot straight away albeit still having three bars away from Jackpot.. hee hee

And then we went to play some fighting games... and dear went to catch another mickey while I played his street fighter game lol... so lucky he spent like 2 bucks on it.. =D so li hai lol

and afterwards we try to catch the minnie mouse but it was so hard... and we gave up..

Went upstairs to try book a KTV room and then we headed out to coffeeshop S11 to have our lunch.. haha the centruy egg porridge I had was good.. dear as usual was eating my friends.. I dun know he has craving for those piggy parts X_X

And then we went back in to catch Minnie again.. and this time the one dollar he put in caught the Minnie.. we spent a lot in the end =/

And it was Ktv time.. heh heh long time did not sing with yandao le.. haha and even Stitch wants to have a go at the mike. lolz.. he must have found my singing awful and snatch my mike away. =X

We had nice drinks and fun singing.. and afterwards we went to Meltz Cafe at Oriental Mandarin Hotel..

Wow expensive buffet luckily dear had citibank card which entitles us to 15% off..

There was all kinds of food.. Indian cusine, Jap, western.. chinese..

nice yummy lobsters.. with prawns..

Curries... with nan lol.. and nasi brani

Yum Yum Sushi with all kinds of salad... salmon salad.. smoked snowfish.. chicken salad squid salad.. haha yummy.

But the best was the deserts hehe... there was waffle with ice cream and coffee cake.. caramel cake.. chocolate cakes... yum yum... chocolate fondue too where u can choose which fruits to dip in with chocolate or marshmellows.. oh oh too yummy.. ate before I took any pictures lol...

Ha so fulll.. =D thanks dear.. hope u had a great time with me because I had.. will Miss ya +p

After that incident,i still felt upset on the following day to work and I was like thinking and thinking and it became hard for me to concentrate on my work..

=( I even dropped a few tears when my colleague wasn't looking but he could tell I was pretty upset and bought me bubble tea even though I mentioned I didn't want.

probably hoping that I could be less sad by using it to hit him. We had a long talk still i know crying isn't any solution but maybe like I said maybe only when u know how much u can be hurt by a person then you really know how much u love him?

He was really sweet the next day and bought me a rose

and some takopachi and diet coke when I was at work.. I was kinda surprise because it was really out of the blue.

Mornings I wake up feeling a little melancholy.. because my poor heart is in pieces haha u better mend it back

I haven been blogging since like.. ancient? haha

It's very tiring ma.. work and all... it's not like I am a rich Tai Tai got time to stay at home and blog everyday =( Yesterday work until like ten forty like that then can leave the shop .. lol poor me

Luckily I am off today but got up pretty early and bought pineapple tarts from Famebakers I kinda made my order early from her so I got 2 boxes at only $10 which is a pretty good deal since my family is ravishing abt how delicious they are now =p yum yum haha >.< but still I am pretty afraid of putting on weight so I shall resist the temptation to gobble down the yummy tarts.

Haven been up to pretty much stuff.. went to catch a movie with my sis.. The one staring Johhny Depp..Sweeney Todd.. was kinda ok.. very musical 0.0"" didn't expect that at all.. but since my sister was dying to catch it.. went to watch it with her..

saw my OM at Jurong Point.. she wanted to recall me back to work today earlier in the morning.. dots like as if I haven work myself to death the past few days.. but anyway I already had appointment and told her I can't go to work..

Haven gone clubbing since New Year Eve.. so long =/ ok ok I know clubbing is bad.. and waste of money =( oh well

Looking forward to Chinese New Year where I can finally get off from work for 4 days.. YIPEE.. haha

SO SAD MY HP (D900) GOT STOLEN ALONG WITH MY CUTE BEAUTIFUL HP POUCH I BOUGHT LESS THAN 2 MTHS ALONG WITH MY KEYCHAIN CONTAINING MY NAME IS ALL GONE =( it was a nice keychain. my bf had a matching one with mine.. so sad

AND NOW I DUNNO WHAT HP TO GET =(

Went to get my cert on my last off day... haiz they took so long to give me the letter leaving me only one bloody miserable day to go down to Ministry of Health to collect the cert.. sometimes u just feel like killing the people in office u know.. I mean cant they just open the letter box and hand to me earlier meh -.-

Luckily it was my off that day and my dad had his cab to fetch me there and afterwards he dropped me off at Plaza Singapura.. went to get a top for my work and met up with my bf to kinda celebrate our third yr anniversary for being together.. actually I think I kinda forced him to take leave to accompany me =( ok I am bad gf..

we went to catch a movie.. and afterwards try to shop for a gift but we ended up at Thai Express eating... my the green curry was really good.. and the tom yam soup was hot hot hot.. =/ we had stuffed tofu and prawn fritters as well.. no pics for u cos my bloody hp is lost =(

and then I guess we left the area.. sad sad day haiz

and now i am contemplating of getting SGH G600.. what do u guys think??

but the thing is Starhub seems to like run out of stock for this phone.. ARGHZ. hate losing hp.. hope which ever idiot who gets my hp have his/her hands rot and grow disease. =(

By the way, cat is back from Australia and we met up for a movie after my work.. 2 days in Paris wasn't such a good movie -_-
